Wind Electricity Workshop
Students are taught about the main components needed for a wind genration system, and are then given detailed instruction on how to measure the wind in any area, in order to determine the size of system that can work in any situation
. 
Here at 3 rivers we have installed a small Air-X 400 wind turbine, at the top of a 100 foot tree, towering over the rainforest canopy. Participants are taken to the forest, and shown the installation, as well as how the wiring for the forest house has been achieved with minimal impact.
The turbine is capable of supplying a constant 400 watts, and we have installed it using a small 90 amp hour battery, which provides power to each room.
