Solar Electricity Workshop
Our solar electricity workshop is probably the most popular of all of our classes.
Participants are taught all about the main components required for a home solar system. Each component is examined and explained, and participants are taught how to calculate their power needs, and how to use those figures to choose a good system to meet their requirements. Details of unusual systems that do not need all the components are also covered during this section of the class.
Students are taught how to put a system together and explained the important details of the wiring requirements of each system.
Discussions are held about preventative maintenance and the need to consider consumption at all times in order to reduce the size of the system required. Participants are also given details of what to buy and where to buy it.
