3 Rivers Eco Lodge, Dominica, Caribbean
3 Rivers Eco Lodge began in earnest in November 2000, when I came to Dominica with my brother kal and my nephew Zak, to look at land and investigate the possibility of moving here to create what would become 3 Rivers eco lodge.

I moved to Dominica in January 2002 and camped with Zak and Kal for about 10 months on our land, clearing the banana field which we had bought, and living in tents, comfortably enjoying our new life, and working hard daily.

In November 2002 3 Rivers Eco Lodge opened with 1 cottage accommodation, Rose, and a small restaurant/bar, as well as the foundations for 4 more lodges and what is now the two storey Ocean View Cottage. All the infrastructure was set, and by the time our money was spent, sometime in 2003, we had 3 cottage accommodation to rent, our home, Ocean View, and the restaurant/bar.
The property was powered completely by solar electricity including our water pump, and 3 Rivers Eco lodge Dominica was in business.
Soon afterwards, my brother and nephew moved away to Portsmouth, Dominica where Kal continues is a teaching.
I was excited to have created and live at 3 Rivers, and proud of what it became, a multi award winning, much acclaimed Eco Lodge; with the help of many people, especially the incredible staff.

By the summer of 2007 at 3 Rivers Eco Lodge we had:
- four eco lodges for rent, a dormtory,a greatly enlarged restaurant, bar and games room,
- greatly increased additional power through our micro hydro electricity system
